Applying for citizenship with a criminal record, Beware!

With the immigration department getting more strict by the minute, having a criminal record becomes more dangerous every day.
Before you file to become a United States Citizen, confirm that your criminal record, as little it may seem, does not affect your residency status.
More often than not, small charges that occurred many years ago still affect the immigration status of the person. Do not think that because it happen those so many year ago, immigration will not find out about it because it is too old. Nothing gets deleted or forgotten! If that small and old charge is considered a crime involving moral turpitute, by filing for citizenship, you may be placing yourself in deportation proceeding! Careful!
Consult an attorney with experience in these matters before filing for citizenship!
